Home Up island princess

Our cruise started on July 29 with our flight to Fairbanks, Alaska.  We spent two days in Fairbanks, taking a gold mine tour, a tour of the Alaska Pipeline, and a riverboat tour on a real Stern Wheeler.  We then boarded a train for Denali National Park.  Denali is the home of Mount McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America at around 20,000 feet.  We spent a night near Denali then traveled boarded our train for Anchorage.  We spent one night in Anchorage then boared a bus for Seward where we boarded our ship, The Island Princess.  The Island Princess was on it's third voyage, almost brand new!  We cruised south passing Glacier National Park, stopping for the day in Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, then following the "inside Passage" to Vancouver.  The scenery was fantastic, the food and service on the ship was unsurpassed but the best was getting to spend time with my parents, sister and nephew.  An experience I will never forget.  Below are just a few of the pictures I took.
