History of the Project

My father got me this car when I was ion college.  After I graduated from college, I bought a new Toyota 4x4 pickup and put the car in storage.  In May 2004, I got the car out of storage and cleaned it up.  I will be starting the refurbishment project later this year. 

Description of the Car

The car is a 1960 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.  It was originally a light blue.  I painted it American LaFrance red, a very dark, almost blood red.  The car has the back and both right side glass out, along with the windshield.  It is going to be a major project to get it running.
