The Movie Industry-Although the apartment just blocks from some of the first studios in LA. The only remaining today are KCET, (two blocks), and ABC Television Studios, (about six blocks). Just five or six blocks away is the famous Griffith Studios where some of the greatest movies of all time were made, (a grocery today). Down the street from there was the first home of Fox Studios and just a little further from that was the birthplace of Warner Brothers. The studios moved further west in to what is now the core of the Hollywood business district. This is only the beginning of the studio history in the area.
