Home Up

I am still playing softball.  This is one of my big time consumers but I really enjoy getting out there, being competitive, and the exercise I get out of it.  Here are some teams that I have been on through the years.

Shoulder Injuries-After fighting several years of shoulder problems, and multiple surgeries, (all but one was an open surgery, not minor arthoscopic and some requiring overnight stays), I have resigned myself to a coaching role.  I am now coaching a team and that is filling the gap of the need for a competitive sport.  To see these guys get better and work hard every week to be better, gives me a satisfaction that I never had any idea it could.  I am doing some catching and hitting now but very limited.  The level I am participating is good because it has me doing some cardio that I need to do.

The Fireballs in San Diego where they took first place.

I have been a part of a team called the Traviesos for the last few years.  Unfortunately, the team disbanded due to several reasons but a group of about six of us went to another team, called The LA Force.  Some of the Force guys moved on to join an existing team called the Fireballs, which I am a part of now and coaching.  Below is a pictures of me in a Palm Springs tournament in January 2005 playing first base followed by some pictures of the Force team.
